We’re currently seeking a Lifestyle Director who can not only lead engaging programming in our community but also play a vital leadership role across our broader network of Carefield Living communities.

Open Position Schedules:
- Full-Time
- Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.
Pay:
$65000 - $67000 annually depending on experience
Essential Job Duties
In addition to leading lifestyle programs at Madonna Gardens, this role supports our broader Carefield Living network by:
Traveling between Carefield communities (approximately 30–40% of the role will require travel)
Assisting in the development of company-wide Lifestyle programs
Implementing and auditing Lifestyle programs at multiple locations
Running monthly support calls with Lifestyle teams across all communities
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience conducting activities in a group setting (senior care preferred)
- Must be open to working holidays/weekends as needed
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate the community van
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Gerontology, Kinesiology, Recreation Therapy, Health Promotion)
- 2–4 years of experience in wellness/activity planning for seniors
- 1+ year of supervisory experience (budgeting and staff development included)
Job Summary:
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for planning and leading the lifestyle programming at the community, ensuring that activities enrich the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of all residents. This position will also support and collaborate with Lifestyle Directors across all Carefield communities to standardize and enhance programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create monthly event calendars and newsletters
- Lead community-wide activities, outings, and celebrations
- Conduct resident surveys to shape programming
- Oversee transportation coordination
- Recruit, train, and supervise department staff and volunteers
- Maintain department budgets and supply inventory
- Drive residents for community outings as needed
- Represent Carefield Living’s core values and lifestyle vision across communities
- Collaborate with other communities to share best practices and support regional lifestyle initiatives
Physical & Working Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs., push up to 40 lbs., and assist residents physically during activities
- Must be able to travel between multiple Carefield communities as needed
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required
